Personal Experience
Odette started her career in the logistics industry in late 1999. Starting off in the administration departments and venturing into the day-to-day operations of the industry; this whet her appetite for the unpredictable, fast passed and challenging environment that logistics is renowned for.
Being a hands-on-individual has afforded her the opportunity to see the inner workings of the administration and operational sides of the organizations that she held positions at, within corporates and smaller businesses. Based on this knowledge she’s been able to identify and match the best suited service providers to the client to maximize the partnerships between all the parties in the movement of the cargo. This being said, always keeping in mind the mitigation of risks for all parties to the movement of cargo when matching up service providers to the individual needs of the customers.
Odette’s motto to live by: Never take any opportunity for granted, good or bad. Even rejection could put you on the path that you are meant to be on.

James has contributed to a number of leading management and business journals, such as the Harvard Business Review and The Wall Street Journal, as well as given speeches at leadership conferences around the world. An active leader not only in the business world, but in the community as a whole, James is accomplishments are numerous. In 2007, he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from “Consulting” magazine and was honored at the magazine’s awards dinner for women leaders in consulting.
